For those that are concerned what the next trend in limo industry is, there may be an answer. Electric Car Company Inc. is planning to build a electric limo. Nissan Leaf is going to be the stretched 48 inches, making it first zero emission limousine.
The builder of the limo is Imperial Coach builders, a subsidiary of Electric Car Company, Inc. They announced that the car will be 223 inches long and will have double the seating capacity. It means there is going to be 6 passenger seats in the back. They do not specify how the seats will be arranged, however if they follow the traditional builds, such as limo Chicago, we should expect a usual bench leather seat along the side and the rear seat in the back.
“This is going to be the first entirely zero emission limousine and the very first conversion of such a vehicle,” said Gary Spaniak, the CEO of Electric Car Company Inc. The company specializes in building limousines and livery vehicles, though never have tried to convert a totally green car. Let’s hope these vehicles will soon reach Chicago limousine service industry and become the face of stretch limo Chicago service too.
